Boosters Board Meetings

​Band/Orchestra Boosters meetings usually take place the third week of the month and are announced ahead of time in the weekly email. Everyone is welcome to attend! Normally we meet in person at the high school but recently have been meeting via Zoom.

Next scheduled meeting: Tuesday, February 10th , 6:30pm

Fundraising Chair

Coordinates monthly fund raising projects (i.e. selling butter braids) that are geared toward providing an opportunity for individual student fundraising to offset cost of special events and trips. Includes scheduling fundraiser time-frame, providing order forms, and providing details about fundraising activity. ​

  • Coordinates the Bingo volunteer schedule, trains volunteers, tracks Bingo program activities, helps with other music program activities as needed.

Finance Chair

​Writes checks, makes deposits, reconciles bank accounts. Prepares the budget and tracks actual results against the approved budget. Produces and presents financial reports for the monthly board meeting. Facilitates tax filings - Prepares and files 1099’s and other tax forms; provides tax accountant with information to file the annual return. Prepares journal entries to record                                                      bingo results and other transactions as needed.

  • Collects and sends music program weekly emails to parent and students. Updates the group Facebook page. Helps with Charms updates. Coordinates communications needs with all board members and Mr. Stehle. Helps with other organizational needs.

  • Coordinates all the website domains owned or used by the Organization. Works with Board Chairs to create links, update calendar, and post information on the website.  Posts photos from music program events. Helps with other organizational needs.

Duties are mostly during marching season, includes coordinating the following activities with the help of other parent volunteers: fit & check out the uniforms; keep track of uniforms in Charms; arrange for alterations as needed; check uniforms back in after marching season; arrange for washing uniforms; help with other organizational needs.

Sets up volunteers for Winterguard events. Coordinates special events such as Senior Night, team-building activities, and celebrations.
